Simpli5 is a defined-scope clear aligner system providing exactly 5 sequential aligners per arch for anterior tooth correction. Introduced by AOA Lab in 2006 as an elaboration of their 3-aligner "Red White & Blue" system, Simpli5 addresses the full spectrum of minor anterior cases with up to 2.5 mm total tooth movement (0.5 mm per aligner × 5 aligners). DuraClear polyurethane aligners are thermoformed over stone model setups. Each aligner is worn 3–4 weeks. The fixed 5-aligner structure makes case selection and fee presentation simple — there is no "how many aligners will I need?" uncertainty.
Five sequential DuraClear (0.030″ polyurethane) aligners, each programmed for up to 0.5 mm of anterior tooth movement. The stone model setup sequence is planned in 5 steps. Aligners are worn 3–4 weeks each for a total treatment of approximately 3–5 months. Movements include labiolingual tipping, rotation, and minor spacing/crowding correction. No attachments are used (simple anterior tipping cases only). Retention aligner or conventional retainer follows.
